KLCA Archdiocese of Verapoly presented the POPE FRANCIS KARUNYA award to Rev Sr Dr Annie Sheela, eminent cardiologist of P S Mission Hospital Maradu. The award is presented to Sr Dr Annie Sheela for her philanthropic activism as well as other meritorious contributions in the medical field.
Justice Cyriac Joseph presented the award. Deputy Mayor of Kochi Corporation T J Vinod inaugurated the meeting. Vicar General of Archdiocese of Verapoly Rev Msgr Mathew Elenjimittam presided over. President P M Benchamin read the award declaration, Additional Advocate General of Kerala, Sri K A Jaleel, KRLCC Vice President Shaji George, KLCA State General Secretary Adv Sherry J Thomas, C J Paul, Louiz Thannikkot, M C Lawrence etc spoke.
